- Explore Multi-Account, Multi-Region, and Infrastructure as Code in LocalStackLink visible for attendees
Join our May event where we'll unleash the power of LocalStack for a smoother cloud development experience. We will learn how you can reduce your unexpected AWS bills by leveraging AWS CDK in LocalStack. Addtionally you will learn how to manage resources across multiple AWS accounts and regions.
Talk 1: Learning Infrastructure as Code the boring way
Tired of the manual grind of infrastructure management & slow development cycle? Embracing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is crucial for modern software development, yet the journey can be scary to say the least.
In this session, we’ll demystify IaC, explore its benefits, and get you started with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). All this without the adrenaline rush of surprise AWS bills!

Talk 2: Multi-account and multi-region in LocalStack
Multi-account and multi-region compatibility enables users to manage and deploy resources across multiple AWS accounts and geographic regions. This functionality enhances the robustness of the deployments by offering improved fault tolerance, scalability, and regulatory compliance. By segregating resources into separate accounts and distributing them across various regions, users can minimise the impact of potential failures and optimise performance.
In this session we will learn how we can use Localstack to simulate multi-account and multi-region environments locally for testing and development purposes, ensuring that their applications are resilient and scalable before deployment to the cloud.
